Start a registry editor (e.g., regedit.exe).<br \/>\n2. Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Installer registry subkey (create this subkey if it doesn&#8217;t exist).<br \/>\n3. From the Edit menu, select New, DWORD Value.<br \/>\n4. Enter the name DisableMedia, then press Enter.<br \/>\n5. Double-click the new value, set it to 1, then click OK.<br \/>\n6. Close the registry editor.<br \/>\n7.
