Get this trying to open PDFs embedded in Word documents?
Turn off the annoying Enable Protected Mode at Startup fixes it.
Requires you to download and install Firefox or Chrome (not tried with Chrome).
Go to
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
In Firefox and choose IE as browser. Then gives you the file to download. Do same in IE for Firefox Flash download.
Saves using the seriously SHIT Adobe Download Manager. I’ll say that again, seriously SHIT Adobe Download Manager. I WASTED about half an hour trying to get the DLM to download it and it refuses.
